Eligibility is managed by Alberta’s Apprenticeship & Industry Training (AIT https://tradesecrets.alberta.ca/).

Alberta’s Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) system is an industry-driven system that ensures a highly skilled, internationally competitive workforce. AIT manages all compliance and legislation for Apprenticeship training.

Olds College is a classroom instruction provider only; as is any approved post-secondary institution in Alberta. All post-secondary institutions in Alberta that offer classroom instruction must teach the same curriculum (AIT's individual learning modules). The differences would be in student services offered at the post-secondary, class sizes, and equipment that students may train on in their classroom instruction.
