Olds College E-mail: As an enrolled apprentice, you will now have access to your @oldscollege.ca e-mail address. It's important that you take the time to log into your e-mail. For instructions on how to access your Olds College e-mail address for the first time please view instructions here.
MyOldsCollege Account: Access your account to update your personal information, view account charges, and check your schedule one week before your program starts.
Moodle: You will use Moodle to access all information for your courses, including timelines, assignments and grades.
OC Alert App: please make sure you have downloaded this to your smartphone. It is the official safety app of Olds College. The app features emergency contacts, crisis alerts, in-app tip reporting, location services features, and more.
OLDS COLLEGE ORIENTATIONS
Programs will have their program specific orientation during their first scheduled class and details will be sent by e-mail approximately one month before your training starts. Another reminder will be sent a week prior to your first day of classes.

Please check your Admitted Student Section found at the very bottom of your program page for a list of equipment and materials.
Please ensure you note the preferred device. There are computer labs on campus and some devices may be available for loan from The Teaching & Learning Centre of Innovation.
Information on required ILMs and any further supplies will be provided as you attend each class. ILMs are available from the Campus Store (Learning Resource Centre Building 15 at the bottom of the stairs).

Registered Alberta apprentices and occupational trainees may be eligible for financial assistance when attending the technical training portion of their program through Provincial and Federal loans and grants.
EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE & APPRENTICES: Your EI Code is available on the class registration letter in your MyTradesecrets account. To access your account, please click here to login.
If you require a Verification of Enrolment for funding (e.g., RESPs, external awards, etc.), then please request this through “Forms”.

SCHOLARSHIPS: The Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Board provides more than 900 scholarships to apprentices and occupational trainees every year.

Health & Wellness: our Health & Wellness team is here to help! Contact them if you need Health Services (e.g., Doctor, Nurse, Counsellors), Wellness Services (e.g., massage, indigenous services), or access to additional health and wellness resources.

Learning Supports: our Technology & Learning Centre of Innovation team offers a number of services to assist you with your program. Make sure to reach out to them if you need assistance with library services, technology support, or learning support (e.g., tutors, organisation skills, exam strategies, note taking).
