Olds College is a post-secondary partner of ApplyAlberta. ApplyAlberta is an online application and transcript transfer system that anyone can use to apply to undergraduate programs throughout Alberta.

Olds College - How to Apply

Ensure your Alberta.ca account is ready to go before applications open. Remember, you only require a basic account.
If you attended school in Alberta, please ensure you have your provincial student ID number available. Look up services will be provided within the ApplyAlberta portal if you do not have your Alberta Student Number (ASN).
If you are an out of province Canadian student, please ensure you have your provincial student ID number available.
You are only required to set up your ApplyAlberta profile once. This will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The remaining application should only take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1. Login or create an Alberta.ca account at ApplyAlberta.

2. Complete your ApplyAlberta profile. Once complete, you will see green check marks beside each item.

CITIZENSHIP - Please complete this form.
HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY - Please complete this form. Please ensure you update your high school number as this helps to match transcripts.
HIGH SCHOOL MARKS - Select NO (Are you currently enrolled or plan to enrol at a Canadian High School). You are not required to enter your course marks. This information is received through electronic transcript exchange. If you are out of province, please see instructions for sending authenticated transcripts to Olds College.

POST-SECONDARY HISTORY - Please complete this form.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Please complete this form.

3. Within "My Activities", select "Start a New Application" and select your desired institution (Olds College!).

Note: If you need to stop or resume an application within "Manage My Application Activities".

4. The "Application Transfer" page will be displayed where you can confirm the information that is being sent to Olds College. Select "Next" to proceed or "Back" if you'd like to make changes to your ApplyAlberta profile.

5. Select an Application Type and Continue.

The Olds College portion of the application will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

6. Select your Admission Term and Fill Out Application.

7. Complete your Olds College Admission Checklist!

NAME - Review and select Continue.
PERSONAL INFORMATION - Review and select Continue.
INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION - Review and select Continue.
PROGRAM OF CHOICE - Select your program of choice and select Continue.
- If you do not see your desired program, then you have selected a wrong term. You may use your browser's back button to return to the "Apply for Admission" page where you selected a term or you can exit the application, stop it within ApplyAlberta, and start a new application within ApplyAlberta. Programs and terms are found on our website.

8. When your application is complete, red check marks will be displayed. Select "Application is Complete".

9. Applicant's High School & Prior College Information - Select Acknowledge.

10. Admissions Agreement - Select "I agree to the terms".

11. Select a payment waiver, if applicable. Students that select a waiver they are ineligible for may be charged an application fee.

If you have selected a waiver and selected Continue, then your application is complete!

12. Submit application payment. You will be redirected to our payment provider portal where you can select the DOMESTIC or INTERNATIONAL portal.

NOTE: Combination CREDIT/DEBIT cards may not work as many have known issues; not all banks have AVS (Address Verification System) enabled on these card types and when a card isn't present for a transaction, address verification is required for PCI compliance.

13. Congratulations! Your application is complete!
